BIOCHEMISTRY LAB
INTRODUCTION
Biochemistry laboratory provide a research and development (R&D) and professional services equipped with sophisticated analytical instruments to suit research and analysis needs in biochemistry area. The laboratory multidisciplinary areas including plant profiling & chemistry, biomarker discovery, in vitro biochemical & cell-based assays, protein sequencing solution, in-vitro antioxidant assays and microelement analysis on plant, soil & fertilizer. Research collaboration among researchers, government and private agencies are welcome.
EQUIPMENT HIGHLIGHT

Liquid Chromatography Quadrupole Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry (LC QToF MS)
Screening and identification of unknown (non-volatile) compounds with higher accuracy molecular weight detection. Compound detection based on library search using internal library database or online database

2-Dimensional Gas Chromatography Quadrupole Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry (GCxGC- QToF MS)
Screening and identification of unknown (volatile) compounds with higher accuracy molecular weight detection. For further compound separation and identification, samples can be injected into second capillary column to generalize a 3D image. Compound detection based on library search using internal library database or online database.

Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS)
To detect metals and several non-metals in samples (liquid) at very low concentrations. The instrument is available in triple quadrupole configuration, which is more sensitive and accurate for molecular mass detection.Â

Gel Documentation system
To support common protein gel stains and DNA/RNA analysis. The system allows rapid visualization of proteins on gels and blots without staining and destaining. Our gel imaging systems visualized with common modes of UV-light, and chemiluminescent.

High Performance Liquid Chromatography (Photo Diode Array)
The separate, identify and quantify of compounds dissolved in a liquid (non-volatile compound). The PDA detectors absorbance the light-absorbing compounds.

High Performance Liquid Chromatography (Evaporative Light Scattering Detector)
To separate, identify and quantify compounds dissolved in a liquid (non-volatile compound). The ELSD detector is more sensitivity over other detection techniques, can even detect components with no UV absorption
