Welcome to 3rd ICA Research Symposium (ICARS) 2020
ICA Research Symposium (ICARS) has established itself as an excellent platform for researcher and industry practitioner to share their research finding and experience in field of sustainable agriculture and food production. The first ICARS was held in 2018 and continue followed in 2019, since then various research finding have been successful shared among. With this year theme of “Sustainable Agriculture, Food & Nutrition Security”, we hope many new finding and experience could be shared together. This symposium includes lectures, research paper and poster presentations.
This year, ICARS is introducing Food & Agriculture Research & Innovation Competition (FARIC) with the objectives:
- To support the development of food and agriculture through the empowerment towards research and improvement in food and agriculture research and technology
- To give recognition to the innovation research projects in food and agriculture research and technology

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
In consideration of the safety and limitation of travelling due to COVID-19 and Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), the presentation mode of 3rd ICARS has changed to VIRTUAL PRESENTATION for all International and local participants. Safety and well-being of 3rd ICARS participants and organizing committees is our top priority.

All presenters (whether live online presentation or pre-recorded video presentation) are automatically eligible to participate in the competition for a chance to win attractive prizes. The competition is divided into 2 categories based on symposium scopes and for each category the awards are as below:
• Gold (RM 250 cash + RM250 worth of ICA product + E-Certificate)
• Silver (RM 150 cash + RM150 worth of ICA product + E-Certificate)
• Bronze (RM 80 cash + RM70 worth of ICA product + E-Certificate)
