August 24, 2024 – Article related to “Malaysia benefits from satellite data to achieve zero carbon emissions goal” written by the Chairman of the Professors Council of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Professor Dr. Mazlan Hashim, published by Berita Harian on August 24, 2024.
Malaysia is committed to achieving the goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, with one of the main approaches being the use of satellite data.
According to Prof. Dr. Mazlan Hashim, agencies such as the Meteorological Department and the National Space Agency (ANGKASA) will use this data for weather and natural disaster monitoring.
