Ibnu Sina Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (ISI-SIR) was founded in 1997, and we have made history. At ISI-SIR, expanding the boundaries of knowledge through a genuinely multidisciplinary endeavour across the mathematical, physical, and social sciences to technologies and the humanities is a noble task to contribute to society on a national and global scale, thus creating the future. The staff and students of ISI-SIR look forward to seeing how things work and inspired to make them work better. Our philosophy and strategic planning are to encourage real-world engagement and appreciation for the ISI-SIR entrepreneurship ecosystem.

We are building an interdisciplinary team of engineers, computer scientists, physical scientists, and social scientists who are interested in working to invent the future of materials science, laser and photonics, separation technology, computer science and big data, industrial mathematics, and fiqh science and technology.
