OBJECTIVE

Ensuring that ISI-SIR implements occupational health and safety policies within the University campus premises in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)

Taking safety, environmental and occupational health measures holistically including office space in Building N31 as well as other ISI-SIR Research Center offices and laboratories such as laser center research offices and laboratories in T05, UTM CIAM computer offices and laboratories in C08, CSNano research laboratories in T02 and the CLEAR research lab in N12

Take action and preventive measures to ensure the environment and occupational health are in accordance with standards in accordance with the OSH Act

Implement annual programs and activities planned by the OSHE Committee for ISI-SIR and the University to implement a culture of occupational health and safety

Propose annual programs and activities related to the environment, safety and occupational health to the University OSHA Committee

Make a report to the University and the Office of the Director of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and take the necessary measures when there is an accident at work

Provide the necessary information to help implement accident prevention measures such as training, seminar campaigns and the like

Ensure all equipment is in a safe condition and ensure the use of equipment in accordance with Safe Work Procedures

Carry out an audit process in the environment, safety and occupational health for ISI-SIR at least once a year
