Smartphone Controlled Boat Competition 2021 is a competition initiated by Teknomarin Club UTM, focusing on exposure of students about the basic concepts on Internet of Things (IOT) & Electronic DIY projects. The competition strives to cultivate talents for new generation and promote the Industry Revolution 4.0 in Malaysia. Participants of this competition will go through briefing and tutorial session, purchase their own electronic kits online, construct a functional smartphone-controlled boat model and compete with other teams based on the performance, judge by lecturers and professional authorities from the maritime field.

Following is the detail of the competition:
Application closing date: 30 November 2021
Briefing and tutorial session: 4 December 2021
Preliminary Video Submission: 10 March 2022
Final round and prize presentation: 19 March 2022
Briefing and competition will be conducted via online video platform (Cisco Webex).
Each group must have at most 4 person per team only.
Approximately 20 teams will be selected for the participation.
