The wood workshop area is about 2.8 m wide and 10.35 m long. The ship model-making process is done here.
Models of paraffin wax, wood, or foam materials can be machined using the ship model milling machine. The machine can also be used to accurately measure ship models.
Cutting of the models is performed by milling water lines according to the movement of a tracer plate following the drawn water lines on the milling plan, which is attached to the drawing board placed beside the milling machine.
