Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Johor (JPNJ) and Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Felda Lok Heng Selatan promoted Internet-of-Thing (IoT) innovation project with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) program to control their innovation. Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE) co-host the program, of which was represented and led by Ir. Dr. Fauzan Khairi Che Harun, with the assistance of FKE lecturers and undergraduate students. Thirty-four school teachers participated in the program. The teachers demonstrate enthusiasm in the curriculum and make attempt to attend the program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The teachers were coming from all across Johor state, from Kota Tinggi, Tangkak, Segamat, Mersing, Kulai, Pasir Gudang, Muar, Batu Pahat, Pontian, and Johor Bahru.

The program was held in a one-day event. The objective of this program is to focus programming in the aspects of design, strategizing skills, critical thinking and team work. In total of 10 project innovations were developed and presented at the end of the program, such as; Automatic Sanitizer Dispenser, Face Recognition Automatic Door, Water Irrigation system with solar controller, Automatic Cooling System with Fan, Color Block Sorter (using AI Object Detection), Remote Control Car, Face Activated Light, Table Height Automatic Adjuster, Automatic Pet Feeder, and QR Code Auto-Gate System.
