Energy Audit for Practitioner: From Compliance to Competence
10–12 December 2025
Under the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024, organisations classified as designated energy consumers are required to conduct a comprehensive energy audit once every five years. These audits must be performed by a Registered Energy Auditor (REA) and carried out in accordance with the detailed technical guidelines issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga. This requirement places greater emphasis on competency, compliance, and professional accountability in energy auditing practices.
In response to these regulatory developments, the Energy Audit for Practitioner: From Compliance to Competence training is designed to equip industry professionals with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to meet EECA expectations. The programme also serves as a structured learning pathway for Registered Energy Managers (REMs) who are preparing to progress toward REA certification.
