What training programmes are offered in the 2026 Training Schedule?
The 2026 schedule includes Competency Training (REM Type 1 & REM Type 2) and CDP (Continuous Development Program) Training such as GHG Inventory, Energy Audits, Energy Management Systems (EnMS), Energy Efficiency Financing, and EECA Compliance reporting.
How are the trainings categorised in the schedule?
Trainings are divided into two main categories:

When will the REM Type 1 and REM Type 2 trainings be conducted in 2026?
REM trainings are scheduled across multiple quarters in 2026, with sessions planned in January, February, April, July, August, September, and December, depending on the REM type.
Are the trainings conducted physically or online?
Most trainings are conducted physically, while selected CDP programmes (such as Energy Efficiency Financing Opportunity and Incentives) are offered online.
Where will the physical trainings be held?
Physical trainings are planned at various locations including Johor Bahru (JB), Kuala Lumpur (KL), Shah Alam, PNG, and PAGOH, subject to confirmation.
How many days does each training session usually take?
The duration varies by programme, ranging from 1 to 5 days, depending on whether it is a competency or CDP programme.
Are the trainings spread throughout the year?
Yes. The training calendar is structured across all four quarters of 2026, allowing participants to plan attendance in advance.
How many CDP hours are allocated for each programme?
CDP hours vary by programme, with allocations such as 4, 5, or up to 16 CDP hours, as stated in the training schedule.
Are these trainings HRD Corp claimable?
Selected trainings are HRD Corp claimable, subject to approval and prevailing HRD Corp terms and conditions.
Can participants attend more than one training programme in a year?
Yes. Participants are encouraged to attend multiple CDP and competency programmes to enhance skills and accumulate learning hours.
Are the training dates and locations final?
All dates and locations are subject to approval and change, as indicated in the training schedule.
Will participants receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes. Participants will receive a certificate of completion for each training they successfully attend.
How can participants register for the trainings?
Registration details will be announced through official PROSPECT–UTM social media channels and respective training web pages and web posts.
