Johor Bahru, 10 December 2024 – The ICCubeX ICON Day 03/2024 brought together industry experts, academia, and innovation leaders for an engaging session under the theme of “Artificial Intelligence and Digitalisation”. Held at Kompleks Usahawan Teknologi (KUT) MARA, UTM Technovation Park, the event featured a diverse lineup of speakers who shared their insights and expertise.
The ICON Talk session, spanning from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, showcased the following prominent speakers and topics:
Prof. Ts. Dr. Kamalrulnizam Abu Bakar from UTM’s Research Alliance (Smart Digital Community) delivered a talk titled “Research Ecosystem in UTM,” offering an overview of UTM’s advancements and collaborations in digital research initiatives.
Mohd Nazmi Mohd Ali Napiah from PETRONAS captivated the audience with his presentation on “Turning Challenges into Opportunities: Transformation of Pipeline Asset Management,” exploring how digital technologies are revolutionizing the oil and gas industry.
Prof. Ir. Dr. Hazlina Selamat, representing UTM’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIRO), highlighted the application of AI in conservation efforts through her talk, “AI in Biodiversity Conservation.”
Razlinda Rahmat from Neuramerge Resources (CoE MTDC) inspired attendees with her session titled “AI-Powered Innovation: Transforming Research into Market-Ready Solutions with Generative AI,” emphasizing the importance of AI in bridging the gap between research and commercialization.
