PUTRAJAYA, 23 Oct – The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) has organized “Hari Terbuka Pendidikan Tinggi Negara 2023” on 23rd October 2023 in Putrajaya. It was attended by academics and students from all universities in the country. The event aiming to foster an open spirit, transparency and cooperation among individuals and organizations involved in the National Higher Education ecosystem and to give exposure on the national higher education transformation plan proposed by the National Review Committee (NRC).
Wireless Communication Centre (WCC) was invited to exhibit research products during the event. This open day also involved exhibitions from prestigious universities and industry partners in various fields, including drone technology, food safety, healthcare, future technology, maker space and AR/VR technology. This “Higher Education Open Day” showcases the commitment of the Ministry of Higher Education in providing encouragement in terms of long-term collaboration and innovation collaboration in the higher education sector. It envisions a brighter future for education in Malaysia. This open day was also attended by the 2nd Deputy Prime Minister, Y.A.B. Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Bin Haji Yusof, together with the Minister of Higher Education, Y.B. Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Bin Nordin to complete the closing ceremony.
