It examined policy gaps and drivers to explore barriers and drivers impacting effective policy implementation, providing valuable insights for improvement. In parallel, it analyzed urban climate change through satellite imagery, pinpointing specific areas vulnerable to rising temperatures. Households were surveyed to assess the effectiveness of nature-based solutions in addressing urban climate issues. Key informant interviews were conducted to understand the views of government officials and policymakers towards eco-based solutions. Climate action plans tailored to Southeast Asian cities were developed based on the research.
