You are invited to join us in a talk organised by MACE (IFAC MALAYSIA), co-organised by CAIRO UTM.
The details are as follows:
MACE Monday Tech TalkTitle: Robotics and Automation Research in the School of Mechanical Engineering, UoA
Speaker: Dr. Rini Akmeliawati ( University of Adelaide, Australia)
Date: 13th June 2022 (Monday)
Time: 10.00 a.m.
In this Tech Talk, two main focuses of the Robotics and Automation Research in our Robotics and Automation Research Group at The University of Adelaide will be presented. This research group is under the School of Mechanical Engineering with 9 academic staff members and more than 20 PhD students as well as more than 50 honours students. I have been the coordinator of this group since 2020. At present, we focus our research on AgTech for Precision Agriculture and Space Robotics. These two focuses are aligned with the current South Australian Government and (Australian) National missions to be at the forefront in AgTech and Space Robotics Research, particularly as Australia is one of the countries that join the Artemis program. The talk will go through various non-classified research projects, which we are currently involved with.
