CEE has organized a series of conferences since 2005. The Conference on Engineering Education in 2005 was the first conference held by CEE, and later branded as the Regional Conference on Engineering Education (RCEE).
International Innovative Practices in Higher Education Expo (I-PHEX) is an international exhibition where academicians in higher education worldwide gather to share and showcase their innovative practices to improve higher education. This exhibition has been organized annually since 2014.
Despite RCEE & I-PHEX, CEE was also given the privilege to host other conferences such as International Research Symposium on PBL (IRSPBL), Research in Engineering Education Symposium (REES), Research in Higher Education (RHEd), International Conference on Teaching & Learning in Higher Education (ICTLHE) and Learning and Teaching in Computing and Engineering (LaTiCE) by various organizations such as International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES), Society for Engineering Education Malaysia (SEEM), Research in Engineering Education Network (REEN). CEE also has collaborated with companies and organizations such as IEM, Petrosains, AKEPT, and many more in organizing these conferences.
In 2017, CEE was honored to host the World Engineering Education Forum (WEEF 2017) by the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES). In conjunction with WEEF 2017, there will also be other events held together. They are the 7th Regional Conference on Engineering Education & Research in Higher Education 2017 (RCEE & RHEd 2017), the 1st International STEAM Education Conference (STEAMEC 2017), the 4th Innovative Practices in Higher Education Expo 2017 (IPHEX 2017), Global Student Forum (GSF), and Global Entrepreneurship Challenge (GEC).
