International Conference of Green Science & Technology (ICGST) 2023 was successfully organized in 7-8 December, 2023 at UTM Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with steering partners from Shizuoka University, Japan, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER, India), Universitas Gadja Mada, Indonesia and Universiti Putra Malaysia.
For this year, ICGST2023 was Chaired by Prof. Hesham El-Enshasy, Director of IBD, Prof. Ir. Dr. Roshanida Rahmat, Dean of Research Alliance Health and Wellness, UTM (Advisor), with the support of Prof. Dr. Rosli Illian (TNCPI, UTM) the Honorary Patron of the Conference.
The conference was started by welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Hesham El Enshasy and officiated by Prof. Ts. Dr. Abdul Latiff, Pro-Vice Chancellor of UTM Kuala Lumpur Campus. The conference was started with the plenary lecture of Prof. Ir. Dr. Rahmat Mohsin, Dean of Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Energy, UTM. The other Plenary speakers for this year were Prof. Dr. Dulal Panda (NIPER, India), and Prof. Enoch Y. Park (Shizuoka University). The conference was participated by staff and students of partner universities to present their current research and discuss about the future cooperation in green science and technology in Asia.
