The Cosmeceutical and Fragrance Research Unit creates science-driven skincare and scent solutions for beauty and personal care . Focusing on innovative bioactive ingredients and refined fragrance design, the unit develops high-performance products that elevate consumer experience.
Food and Nutraceutical
The Food and Nutraceuticals Research Unit drives innovation at the intersection of food science, nutrition, and health, transforming ingredients into value-added products with proven functional benefits.
Herbal and Phytochemical
The Herbal and Phytochemical Research Unit advances evidence-based discovery from medicinal plants, focusing on bioactive compounds with clear therapeutic and wellness potential for health-focused industries and communities.
Microbial Bioprocessing
The Microbial Processing Research Unit explores how beneficial microorganisms and enzymes can be harnessed to create high-value, sustainable products for food, health, and bio-based industries. Biomass & Biomaterial
The Biomass & Biomaterial Research Unit focuses on the valorisation of agricultural and industrial biomass into high-value biomaterials and bio-based products. IBD Lab Services
IBD Lab Services provides food, chemical, microbiological and HPLC analyses for various samples. Our laboratories are accredited with ISO 17025 Testing SAMM No 433.
Training
IBD provides training and short courses for various areas of expertise and skillls
Herbal Extraction Center (HEC)
HEC specialises in advanced extraction of herbals and plants at both intermediate and pilot scale. HEC also provides tabulation and encapsulation services.
Bioprocess Technology Services (BTS)
BTS specialises in microbial fermentation and applied microbiology. BTS is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and professionals to deliver the best sustainable solutions for industries.
Rentals
IBD provide rental services of seminar rooms and halls for personal or corporate events.
