Nine researchers from various universities in Malaysia with different backgrounds were gathered at the Innovation Lab, Fakulti Kejuruteraan Mekanikal, Universiti Teknologi MARA on 17 December 2019 with the aim, to set up a new association, Malaysian Sports Technology Association (MASTA).
UTM was represented by Dr. Muhamad Noor Harun from the Sports Innovation & Technology Centre (SITC). The objective of the MASTA, is to promote research activity in sport engineering and technology in Malaysia, as well as, acts a medium to gather all expertise across Malaysia, to be recognized in the world.
