MaGICX & CIAST Foster Sustainability Collaboration with 6th VR Training

The Media and Game Innovation Center of Excellence (MaGICX) organized the 6th series of Virtual Reality (VR) courses for the Centre for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training (CIAST) on 5 May 2024 at CIAST in Shah Alam, Selangor. This course is part of an ongoing initiative under the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MaGICX and CIAST, aimed at advancing teaching methodologies through immersive VR technology.

CIAST is one of the entities under the aegis of the Manpower Department, Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia, and has been operational since 1984. This continuous training series is designed to upskill CIAST teaching staff, promoting a collaborative knowledge-sharing environment.

Throughout the course, participants had the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge VR equipment and software, gaining practical experience and insights into how these tools could enhance their teaching methodologies.

The event concluded with an interactive discussion session, where feedback from participants underscored the value of this ongoing partnership. This 6th VR course series reinforces the productive collaboration between CIAST and MaGICX, contributing to the ongoing development of teaching staff through transformative VR technology.
