The Kulai District Education Office (PPDK) hosted a “Self-Development Camp of Tunas Kadet Remaja Sekolah” (TKRS), in collaboration with the Sports Innovation and Technology Centre (SITC). The camp was hosted for three days, 5th March to 7 March 2020, at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pulai Perdana.
The camp was attended by six schools under the PPDK; SK Sri Pulai Perdana, SK Kangkar Pulai, SK Kangkar Pulai 2, SK Bandar Putra, SK Taman Kota Pulai and SK Taman Sri Pulai; with a total of 140 participants and 15 coaches.
There were many activities that have been carried out such as marching, gotong-royong, cross-obstacle, group training and others. For the cross-obstacle, the activity was organized by using a tyre and barrel drum to test the level of fitness and strength of the participants. The participants were required to flip the tyre, run on the tyre for agility test, rolling the barrel drum and one step swing.
