In line with the vision of IJN-UTM Cardiovascular Engineering Center (IJN-UTM CEC) to become world class-leading innovation technology in research related to cardiovascular, a team of research fellows from IJN-UTM CEC does not miss the opportunity in developing new research ideas through an impactful Business Model Canvas Model (BMC). A total of 6 research fellows at the IJN-UTM CEC were involved in the BMC workshop.
The primary purpose of organizing this BMC workshop is to provide exposure to research fellows on the importance of BMC, the elements of BMC, product development and expansion ideas, and its impact on the commercialization of a research product related to cardiovascular.
The initiative to organize this BMC workshop was led by Dr. Hau Yuan Wen, the Deputy Director of IJN-UTM CEC. In addition to providing exposure to BMC to fellow researchers, the BMC workshop was held to streamline research grant papers for each research at IJN-UTM CEC. Furthermore, this paper will also be used for the Double Tax Deduction (DTD) grant application with the National Heart Institute.
Dr. Logaiswari A/P Indiran presented the BMC workshop with insightful content, which was conducted for a day, and she is an experienced lecturer in preparing BMC for various products. Dr. Logaiswari is also a lecturer at Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS) UTM, one of the best Business Schools in the world.
