It is a great privileged for MaGICX and its team members in receiving the invitation by the Jland Corporation to demonstrate the concept and application of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) to the Board of Director Jland on 9th August 2022 at Menara Jland Johor Bahru.
MaGICX was given an opportunity by the Jland Corporation to deliver AR and VR application demonstrations related to Jland projects including promotional materials. In general, AR uses a realÂworld setting while VR is completely virtual. AR users can control their presence in the real world while VR users are controlled by the system. Among the demos involved are Digital Twin in Tebing Bandar Dato’ Onn, AR application for Flexi Houses in Bandar Dato’ Onn, and variable placement of furniture.
As for MaGICX to be the anchor for the games and gamification industry and the nucleus for lskandar Malaysia Innovation Valley, this program could be the effort shown by MaGICX for industry promotion, knowledge-sharing, and international collaboration.
