The project began with a site visit and discussion with the Fitrah Qaseh Shelter staff to understand their needs and how best to implement the proposed improvements. Following this, students presented program proposals and reforms, outlining the planned activities and changes.
Knowledge transfer activities, reflection sessions, and questionnaires were conducted throughout the project to ensure the community could utilize the new facility effectively. These activities aim to promote a sustainable lifestyle and encourage the ongoing use of improvements made. This collaborative effort not only improved the physical space but also fostered a strong sense of community and cooperation among the shelter residents and students, making them feel a part of something bigger.
This program was a comprehensive initiative that combined practical improvements with community engagement. It succeeded in creating a more organized and supportive environment for the Fitrah Qaseh Shelter House residents, significantly improving their living conditions and quality of life, while also providing valuable learning experiences for the participating students.
