Simpnify Sdn Bhd warmly welcomes the visit and fruitful discussion with the Institute of Human Centered Engineering (iHumEn), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on 12 June 2024, which was held at the Simpnify Office, Gelang Patah. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohd Shahrizal Sunar, Director iHumEn, Ts. ChM. Dr. Nor Suriani Sani, Senior Research Officer of iHumEn, researchers of MaGIX and representatives from Simpnify Sdn Bhd. The primary aim of this program was to strengthen the cooperative relationship between Simpnify Sdn. Bhd. and the UTM. Simpnify Sdn. Bhd. agreed to establish a strategic collaboration with UTM, focusing on research and innovation and utilizing UTM’s existing expertise and facilities.

This partnership aims to create a robust network for developing joint research initiatives and educational programs and publishing in prestigious international journals. Additionally, the collaboration will include the joint supervision of postgraduate students, leveraging the combined strengths of UTM and Simpnify Sdn. Bhd. Both parties aspire to advance knowledge, drive innovation, and contribute significantly to their respective fields through this strategic partnership.

The program featured detailed discussions on potential areas of research collaboration, exploration of available resources and expertise at UTM, and planning for future joint research projects and publications. Establishing a framework for joint supervision of postgraduate students and networking opportunities for participants were also crucial highlights. The expected outcomes of this collaboration include a formalized agreement outlining the terms of cooperation, identification of specific research projects to be undertaken jointly, development of a roadmap for future joint initiatives, and enhanced academic and professional connections between UTM and Simpnify Sdn. Bhd. While increasing the visibility and impact of collaborative research in international forums. This program marks a significant step towards a fruitful partnership, paving the way for groundbreaking advancements and shared success in research and innovation.
