Institute of Human Centered Engineering (iHumEn), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) welcomes the delegates from Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang on 17th October 2022 to the iHumEn office and laboratory. The delegates were warmly welcomed by all the iHumEn researchers, led by Prof. Dr. Mohd Shahrizal Sunar, Director of iHumEn.
The idea of this visit from Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang to iHumEn purposely to initiate research collaboration between two parties, to exchange, transfer and expand knowledge, and to share the research outcomes and current innovation with the latest technology.
Interestingly, a research visit is not only about work and focusing solely on research, however, it is also an opportunity to explore a new country, learn a new language and allow researchers to be dazzled by a new culture and customs.
Having a visit and delegation from abroad university to the institute marked that iHumEn is relevant to be crowned as the institute of excellence, also it symbolizes the strong support that able to leads to greater institutional visibility and the university’s reputation, and become a part of the source of reference to the local and abroad research institute and university.
