In its unwavering commitment to elevating competency among its esteemed members and researchers, the Institute of Human Centered Engineering (iHumEn) recently hosted a genuinely impactful family event: Lets Dhuha & Potluck. The event occurred on 12th March 2023 at the scenic El Dhuha Campsite in the breathtaking Hutan Lipur Gunung Pulai 2, Pekan Nenas, Johor.
This half-day program witnessed a resounding success, as iHumEn staff and their families wholeheartedly participated in the event. The festivities commenced with a spirited convoy by Prof. Dr. Mohd Shahrizal Sunar, the esteemed Director of iHumEn. Upon arriving at the El Dhuha campsite, the participants joined a serene congregational dhuha prayer and a delightful and nourishing breakfast.
The day’s activities continued with sports events for adults and children, fostering a sense of camaraderie and bonding. The delightful aroma of a BBQ wafted through the air as lunch preparations brought everyone together in a joyous potluck celebration. As the evening descended, the fun and excitement continued with fishing, invigorating water activities like swimming, and an exhilarating ATV riding session.
The underlying purpose of this remarkable workshop was to bridge gaps and strengthen the bonds among the iHumEn staff while emphasising the significance of effective leadership and communication within the workplace. Additionally, the event sought to foster a culture of positive team dynamics and unity, aligning everyone toward the common goals of the institute with unparalleled dedication and deliverables.
