Media and Game Innovation Centre of Excellence (MaGICX), one of the research centre at the Institute of Human Centrered Engineering (iHumEn) was awarded the Special Branch Award (The Best Improved Research Entity) during the “Majlis Apresiasi 2022 Eureka? Odyssey”. This program was organized by the Department of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on 29th September 2022 at Pulai Spring Golf Resort, Johor Bahru.
This award is given to MaGICX for successfully contributed to various research and innovation. This includes projects related to augmented reality (AR), virtual environment (VR), image processing, computer vision, multimedia software engineering, computer interaction, human interface, animation and technology and visualization.
With this award and recognition received, this could be the added value, and acknowledgment to MaGICX and its team members while it motivates them to strive for excellence with high-performance delivery.
