UTM Celebrates the Glorious of Syawal at Majlis Tautan Ukhuwah 2023
The beauty of Syawal lies in the joyous and celebratory spirit that fills the hearts of Muslims after the holy month of Ramadan. iHumEn also does not miss this opportunity to celebrate the most joyous festival, the Eid al-Fitr celebration, organised by the Department of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). With the “Village Vibes” tone set up as the celebration theme, the event occurred on 25 May 2023 at the Seminar Hall, Central Lab Management, UTM. It witnessed a substantial turnout, with approximately 1,500 participants from various departments and PTJ. The occasion featured diverse, engaging activities, including band performances and an exciting lucky draw with giveaways.
The signature of Syawal is one of happiness, spreading positivity and delight throughout the community. It is a time of family gatherings and strengthening bonds between relatives and friends. Specifically, this event could establish a positive relationship between all staff and cultivate a sense of love for the greatness of God about the blessing of the month of Syawal. It also fostered the spirit of cooperation in making a program successful and pouring out ideas according to the given theme. The celebration of Eid al-Fitr reunites the bonds with loved ones, acts of charity, the festive atmosphere, the tradition of wearing new clothes, the emphasis on forgiveness, and the sense of gratitude and spiritual growth that permeates the hearts of Muslims during this particular month.
