On September 6th, 2023, the Sports Biomechanics research laboratory at the Sports Innovation and Technology Centre (SITC) in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) set for a groundbreaking event. RTM Malaysia organizes the event and aims to record TV programs on Sports Technology across Malaysia. The initiative seeks to enlighten and inspire viewers by showcasing the application of sports technology in bicycle and rowing sports, focusing on cardiovascular training.
The Sports Biomechanics research laboratory at UTM’s SITC has state-of-the-art facilities, making it the perfect venue for the event. The recording sessions aim to disseminate valuable insights to a broader audience. The session showcased the intricacies of applying cutting-edge sports technology to optimize performance, enhance training methodologies, and advance understanding of cardiovascular dynamics in bicycle and rowing sports.
The sports science interviews were open to everyone interested in the subject, not just to experts and professionals. It provided an opportunity for students specializing in sports science to participate. The event was led by Ts. Dr. Hadafi Fitri Mohd Latip, the Director of SITC, actively engaged with the twenty students during the recording sessions.
