A Tip-Talk Series was organized by the Medical Devices and Technology Centre (MEDiTEC), Institute of Human Centered Engineering (iHumEn), UTM, initiated by MEDiTEC Publication Unit.

It was mainly designed to encourage, motivate and strengthen the academics as well as researchers to be the world research champion. These series bring experts to showcase their ideas and experience in facing the reality and challenges of the new world of academia.

The Tip-Talk Series are planned to be held once a month with few formats i.e. talks, forums, seminars and workshops, depending on the title and experts coming. The first series was a talk titled “How to Survive and Thrive in Academia” held on 11 February 2020. Nearly, 100 staffs attended the talk, and the session was shared on Facebook Live.
