On the 11th of February 2020, MEDiTEC launched its TIP-Talk Series which was officiated by the Dean of Engineering Faculty of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Prof. Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohammed Rafiq Abdul Kadir. The 1st TIP-Talk entitled How to Survive and Thrive in Academia was presented by Prof Dr Zulkifli Yusop. About 50 young researchers from various Faculties attended the event. Live streaming was also available trough FB live at UTM Institute of Human Centered Engineering page.Â
Prof Dr Zulkifli talked about the attributes of a good academia or researcher, the importance of maintaining good work relationships, how to deal effectively with our stakeholders, embracing good values in our day to day dealings and also the need to have good networking.
