The 5th International Innovative Practices in Higher Education Expo ( I-PHEX 2018 ) is the best platform for you to showcase your innovative practices that can be shared and emulated among academics in higher education worldwide.
Like the previous year, I-PHEX 2018 is jointly organised by the Society for Engineering Education Malaysia (SEEM) and the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES). This is the fifth I-PHEX being organised as an international level exhibition, with the purpose to recognise and award efforts to improve higher education.
This year’s I-PHEX will be held with the 2nd International Conference on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Education 2018 (ICSTEM2018), which will be held on the 2nd – 4th October 2018, together with the other various exciting programs and activities.
Academics from all over the world are invited to submit a minimum of 1000 words extended abstract.
Submissions must be practiced and implemented in higher education for at least two (2) academic semesters. Abstract of accepted submissions will be published in a book with ISBN.
The 2nd International Conference on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Education (ICSTEM 2018) aims to create a platform for interaction, sharing research results and teaching practices conducted in STEM education. With the theme “Towards Developing a Synergistic STEM Community”, the conference focuses on the challenges of learning and teaching of STEM in schools and universities, as well as on innovative and emergent practices that are informed by scholarly research.
The second ICSTEM will be held in Kuala Lumpur on 2 -3 October 2018. It is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education Malaysia and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The conference includes gatherings for keynotes, plenary sessions, forum, special sessions, presentations of papers, and display of posters. ICSTEM2018 is held together with the 5th International Innovative Practices in Higher Education Expo (I-PHEX) 2018 and Innovative Practices in Education Expo (I-PEX) 2018 which will be held on 3 October 2018. Several interesting parallel post conference workshops will be held on 4 October 2018.
I-PHEX is a platform to showcase innovative efforts that contribute to resolving the challenges of higher education, it also serve as a trigger to inspire others to be involved in the discussion, research and the implementation of innovations. I-PHEX 2018 welcomes participation of any innovative practices in higher education in any disciplines ranging from teaching and learning methods to curriculum and assessment design. The practices will be judged and awarded for the evidenced- based effectiveness of the innovation.
Together with I-PHEX is the first exhibition competition for STEM teachers to showcase their innovative practices in schools, I-PEX 2018.
