REES 2025 Doctoral Symposium

In conjunction with the Research in Engineering Education Symposium (REES 2025)

We are pleased to invite doctoral students to participate in the REES 2025 Doctoral Symposium, an enriching platform designed to support early-stage and advanced doctoral researchers in engineering education.

This symposium provides a unique opportunity for PhD candidates to:

  • Present and receive constructive feedback on their research from international experts.
  • Engage in meaningful dialogue with peers and mentors in the engineering education research community.
  • Broaden their perspectives and develop confidence in discussing and refining their research ideas.
  • Build valuable connections that support collaboration and career development.

Who Should Participate:

  • Current doctoral students conducting research related to engineering education
  • Both early-stage and advanced-stage researchers are welcome.

Submission Requirements:

Interested participants should submit:

  • A 2-3 pages extended abstract of their doctoral research (including research background, research questions, objectives, methodology, progress, and key questions).
  • A short bio (80-1200 words).

Format:

  • The symposium will include a mix of student presentations, mentor feedback, and interactive discussions.
  • Sessions will be conducted in person during the REES 2025 conference week on 29 September 2025.

Important Dates:

  • Submission Deadline: 1 September 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: 10 September 2025
  • Symposium Date: 29 September 2025
