From 17 – 22 August 2025, two fellows from the Centre for River and Coastal Engineering (CRCE), Dr. Erwan Hafizi Kasiman and Dr. Mohd Hasif bin Osman, joined a research visit to the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED) and the International Centre for Water Hazard and Risk Management (ICHARM) in Japan.
This visit, organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), aims to strengthen networking, foster future collaboration opportunities, and explore possible research attachments with these renowned institutes.
