ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The 8th International Conference on Biosciences and Biomedical (ICBME2026), formerly known as “International Conference on Biosciences & Medical Engineering”, is a unique academic initiative organized by the Department of Biosciences, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in collaboration with selected university partners across Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Unlike conventional conferences governed by formal scientific societies, ICBME2026 is a faculty- and department-driven platform designed to foster research growth and institutional collaboration.

This conference serves as a strategic avenue for faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students to showcase their latest findings, exchange innovative ideas, and strengthen academic partnerships that align with UTM’s vision of impactful and sustainable knowledge development. Going beyond traditional presentation formats, ICBME2026 emphasizes interactive, solution-oriented engagements—including focused discussions and one-on-one dialogues—aimed at translating research outcomes into practical applications and long-term academic strategies.
