About
International Seminar on Sustainable Functional Materials and Nanoscience (SFMN 2026)
Centre for Sustainable Nanomaterials (CSNano), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) will be the main organiser of the International Seminar on Sustainable Functional Materials and Nanoscience (SFMN 2026), scheduled to take place on 7–8 May 2026. The seminar will be conducted in a hybrid format, connecting UTM with Hainan Normal University (HNNU), China, as part of an ongoing strategic international collaboration.
SFMN 2026 brings together distinguished international speakers, researchers, and academic staff to share recent advances and research insights in the fields of sustainable functional materials, nanotechnology, and related interdisciplinary areas. The seminar serves as a focused platform for knowledge exchange, strengthening research visibility, and fostering meaningful academic engagement between partnering institutions.
This initiative reflects CSNano’s continued commitment to advancing high-impact research, enhancing global partnerships, and supporting internationalisation efforts, in line with the aspirations of UTM Ascend 2030.
