6 June 2024 | Delegates from Nanjing University Chinese Medicine recently paid an official visit to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia ( UTM), marking the beginning of a promising collaboration between the two esteemed institutions. The meeting chaired by DVC( A&I) Prof. Dr. Shafry Mohd Rahim, focused on exploring potential partnerships in research , professional training, product development,and a range of other innovative projects. Representative from several key UTM entities, including the Institute of Bioproduct Development, iHumane, UTM-IJN, and Department of Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences, were actively engaged throughout the discussions.

Insya-Allah ini baru perintis dan mungkin kita akan bawa perkara ini kepada Dato Sri Dr. Stephen Rundi Anak Utom, Menteri Industri Makanan, Komoditi dan Pembangunan Wilayah Sarawak,” ujar beliau. Lawatan kerja ini bertujuan bagi perbincangan kerjasama baharu di antara M-FICORD dengan UTM dalam pembangunan penyelidikan khususnya dalam bidang bioteknologi. Turut hadir bersama dalam perbincangan kerjasama adalah Naib Canselor UTM, YBhg. Prof. Datuk Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi bin Ismail serta Pengarah IBD, YBrs. Prof. Hesham El-Enshasy.
