The Institute of Bioproduct Development (IBD) is a centre of excellence that brings together innovative natural products research and bioproduct development. The works carried out at IBD is focus on an emerging niche area; the utilization of plants and microbes for the development of new products for human health and wellness. IBD provides a comprehensive technology platform in bioprocessing for production and characterization of these bioactive intermediates.
At IBD, we offer a range of training programs in the area Bioproduct Development and Applications and Bioprocessing and Analytical Methods. Our program approach combines theoretical and practical know-how to the participants by leveraging on our scientific experts and technical facilities to ensure that participants are imparted with a knowledge that could directly be applied in their professional capacity.
