Glass Plate
The owner of this glass plate was a successful businessman in the 1930s. He is Hajjah Halijah who comes from Kampung Kuala Hiliran, Kuala Terengganu.
This glass plate is used as a container for food. According to her family members, Hajjah Halijah was very diligent and diligent in business until she became a rich person in the area where she lived. He once had a business, several houses, and land before it was all lost due to the Japanese occupation.
Glass Teapot
This glass teapot is used to store hot water and is served when drinking. This luxurious looking glass teapot was once the property of Batiah Haji Jaafar. He is the owner of Rumah Melayu Jalan Chow Kit in Kuala Lumpur.
This Chow Kit house can be seen as a village house in the middle of the city. It stands strong and is flanked by the rapid progress of the city around it.
Cement Ventilation Block
The Wakaf Shop House was owned by Toh Puan Saripah and was built in 1913. Since then, these shops are often inhabited by the Perak Malay nobility. Through its architecture, it has shown the influence of various arts and cultures such as China, Malaysia and Europe. This fragment is a decoration on the wind stone in the toilet at the back of the shop. It is made of green clay.
