The 3rd International Innovative Practices in Higher Education Expo (I-PHEX 2016)
Innovative Practices in Higher Education Expo is a platform to showcase innovative practices that can be shared and emulated among academics in higher education worldwide. This is the third time I-PHEX is being organised as an international level exhibition.
The purpose of the exhibition is to recognise and award efforts to improve higher education.
I-PHEX 2016 is jointly organised by the UTM Centre for Engineering Education (CEE) and the Society for Engineering Education Malaysia (SEEM), and will be held in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) International Campus, Kuala Lumpur on the 10th August 2016.

Pre-conference Workshop
Title:Â Educational Research Design for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Areas
This workshop is suitable for educators, administrators and policy makers in STEM areas at higher education level who intend to start venturing into educational research to improve their practice or to contribute to the body of knowledge in STEM education. The participants will be introduced to the essential elements of education research in STEM higher education. They will be able to learn how to design and conduct research for academic programmes and practice in their classroom. This will be an advantage for the participants in writing proposals application for education research funding and solve meaningful educational problems.

Title:Â How to Publish Scholarly Educational Based Article in Journal for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Areas
The workshop will be facilitated by internationally recognized scholar, researcher and experienced reviewers such as Prof. Dr. Jeff Froyd and Prof. Dr. Khairiyah from the field of engineering education and higher education who will share their vast knowledge of the academic publication process with participants.
