FAQ on the latest CMCO (7 December 2020 – 20 December 2020) Implementation:

  1. Academic staff: To ensure the continuity of online teaching and learning (T&L) processes, academic staff are given the options of working from home (WFH) or working in the office, whichever is more conducive. Academic staff who opt to WFH need to apply and follow the latest guidelines. Those who work in the office must adhere fully to the CMCO SOP.
  1. Staff who are in the red zone: Staff who are in the red zone must inform the Head of Department. Staff is advised to WFH and follow the MOH guidelines.
  1. Readiness to resume work in the office: The university is aware of the readiness of childcare centres to reopen and hence, the CMCO can be implemented in stages by each PTJ. The Head of PTJ must ensure that only those who have valid reasons are allowed to WFH. Consequently, all staff need to find solutions to resume work in the office.
  1. Adhering to SOP at the office: Head of PTJ must ensure that the CMCO SOP is adhered strictly by all staff working in the office. The PTJs OSHE units need to be activated to monitor compliance with the SOP.
  1. WFH Percentages: The given 25% maximum for WFH is weighted by the university management based on the new CMCO direction. Although, heads of PTJs are allowed to realign the percentages based on the current needs. Please inform the University’s Department of Registrar if the WFH percentages exceed the given 25% threshold.
  1. Periodic notification: Any changes are subjected to periodic notification and latest SOP from JPT, MKN and KKM.

May we be able to carry out our responsibilities and be successful in containing and protecting ourselves from COVID-19.

Thank you for your attention and action.
