REGIONAL CONGRESS ON MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGY (RCOM 2024)

In the wake of multiple global crises resulting from rapid population growth and industrialization, there has never been a more important time for the conversations and connections that will secure new possibilities of sustainable technological growth.

In the midst of escalating global challenges stemming from rapid population growth and industrialization, there arises a pressing need for proactive engagement and collaborative efforts to pave the way for sustainable technological advancements. In response to this imperative, the Advanced Membrane Technology Research Centre (AMTEC) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) stands committed to spearheading conversations and innovations that will catalyze meaningful change.

On September 30th and October 1st 2024, AMTEC will proudly host the Regional Congress on Membrane Technology (RCOM 2024), a pivotal gathering dedicated to addressing pollution brought by industrialization through the lens of advanced membrane technology. This esteemed event will bring together over 300 esteemed researchers, academicians, engineers, industry leaders, and policymakers from across the globe to convene in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Under the theme “Innovating Solutions for Water-Energy-Food-Health-Ecosystem Nexus towards Sustainable Future” RCOM 2024 will serve as a nexus for transformative ideas and collaborative initiatives. Through the facilitation of meaningful conversations and the exchange of knowledge, our goal is to chart innovative courses leading to cleaner, more resilient communities and ecosystems.
