AMTEC FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
About
The AMTEC Fellowship annually awards 10 fellowships to conduct short-term research attachment in Advanced Membrane Technology Research Centre (AMTEC) UTM. The fellowships is for three (3) months, with stipends of RM 1,000 per student per month. All Master/PhD students registered in higher education institutions in Malaysia who are actively doing research in water reclamation are welcome to apply.
Purpose
To provide meaningful experiences for successful applicants to conduct their research in AMTEC, one of higher centre of excellence (HICOE) in Malaysia in the field of water reclamation. These could enhance the talent generation of young Malaysian and empowering collaboration in research project and publication purposes between AMTEC and other universities.

1 March 2022 – 31 May 2022
Support Size
15 students from various universities in Malaysia with stipends of RM 1,000 per student per month
Requirement for Application
1. Malaysia citizens
2. Master by research/ PhD candidates in higher education institution of Malaysia
3. Must appoint a co-supervisor from AMTEC members
4. Fully vaccinated
5. Must submit a complete application form, curriculum vitae and recommendation letter from home supervisor.
6. For applicant that cannot be physically available in AMTEC during the fellowship, research can be conducted in your home university but it is compulsory to participate in several webinar conducted by AMTEC
Expected Output
The successful applicant should publish at least one Scopus indexed-journals with affiliation of UTM HICOE and acknowledgement to HICOE Grant (A.J091400.6800.07092), within 6 months after the end of the attachment.
