UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MALAYSIA, JOHOR BHARU, 10 NOVEMBER 2018 – The convocation ceremony is a highly anticipated event by the students who successfully completed their studies at Higher Education Institutions, either at the level Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), Master, First Degree, nor diploma. The ceremony is held every single year is not just to celebrate success the graduates, but what is more important to recognizing and remembering mother’s and father’s sacrifices  and lecturers who have served a lot and donated devotion all this time.
    Hence, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia once again will witness the award in the 61st UTM Convocation Ceremony which takes place on 10-12 November 2018, located at Sultan Iskandar Hall, UTM Johor Bahru to 3,652 successful students graduated from 281 graduates Doctor of Philosophy; 799 graduates Master; 2,257 graduates of Bachelor’s Degree, while 45 diploma graduates. The convocation ceremony this time also recorded history for the first time when a total of 24 graduates will receive a Master’s Degree Young Science (Equine management). In addition, a total of 26 graduates are sponsored by the Johor State Secretary (SUKJ) also received a Master of Administration degree Education. Presentation of this degree will be completed by His Royal Highness King Zarith Sofiah binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, UTM Chancellor. Participate delivering a degree is UTM’s Pro-Chancellor, namely YBhg. Tan Sri Dr. Salleh bin Mohd. Nor; YBhg. Prof. Tan Sri Dato ‘Dr. Lin See-Yan; and YBhg. Tan Sri Datin Paduka Siti Sadiah binti Sheikh Bakir; as well as
UTM Vice-Chancellor, YBhg. Prof. Datuk Ir. Dr. Wahid bin omar. UTM record high regard and congratulations to all graduates and the parties involved in the ceremony convocation for this time. Congratulation.
