The centre currently consists of 15 laboratories which spans research areas including heterogeneous catalysts, porous nanomaterials, supramolecular functional nanomaterials, nano/molecular photochemistry, biomaterials semiconductor nanostructures, analytical science, separation chemistry, organometallic chemistry, physics of low dimensional structure, quantum chemistry and Fuzzy modelling.
