Guidelines for Physical and Virtual Oral Presentations

 

Invited Speakers’ Presentation

Each invited speaker will be allocated 25 min for presentation, followed by a 5-min Q&A session.

(a) Physical Presentation

    1. Our conference will have 4 parallel sessions. Kindly refer to the program schedule to find out your designated parallel room.
    2. Please arrive at the room 15 minutes before your presentation and save your presentation file in our computer. Our technical team will assist you for the process.
    3. We do not encourage presenters to use individual personal computer to avoid any technical lapses that may delay the flow of our conference.
    4. All the presentation files will be IMMEDIATELY deleted right after the session and the organizing committee will NOT KEEP the files for other purposes.

(b) Virtual Presentation

    1. We will use Webex CISCO for virtual presentation. Kindly download the software at https://www.webex.com/downloads.html prior to the conference and always allow Webex to access your audio and video.
    2. Please make sure you have stable internet connection for virtual presentation.
    3. You may refer to the program schedule (with conference link attached) to find out your designated parallel session.
    4. Breakout rooms are created for the virtual conference. Kindly enter the room 15 minutes before your presentation starts.
    5. Please turn on your camera all the time throughout your presentation.
    6. You may send your slides to us one day before the conference (September 20, 2022, Email: rcom@utm.my) in case of any unforeseen technical errors occur during your presentation (optional).
    7. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you face any difficulty in accessing the platform. To receive fast response from our committee, you can contact Dr Tai Zhong Sheng (Head of Technical Unit) at +60 17-265 1937 (WhatsApp).

 

 

Typical Oral Presentation

Each oral presenter will be allocated 12 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A. Thus, kindly make your presentation BRIEF but CONCISE.
