EXTENDED ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract (500-700 words) in areas of interest based on one of the following tracks:

  1. Scholarly Research in Engineering Education (A-A REES track)
  2. The extended abstract should explain a rigorous and scholarly study that has significant contribution to the advancement of engineering education. The abstract should highlight research questions, theoretical framework, sound research methodology, research results and appropriate discussion.

  3. Work-in-Progress in Engineering Education Research (A-A REES track)
  4. Similar to Track 1, the extended abstract may not have the final research results but it opens up discussion for improving the research gap, theories, literature review and research methodology that provides significant contribution to engineering education.

  5. Scholarly Experience Sharing in Engineering Education
  6. The extended abstract should explain promising practice that is supported by research evidence, previous studies and theoretical framework in related teaching and learning method in engineering education.

  7. Innovative Practice Sharing in Engineering Education
  8. The extended abstract should explain how the innovative practice in engineering education helps to solve problems in teaching and learning of engineering students.

  9. Scholarly Research in Higher Education
  10. The extended abstract should explain a rigorous and scholarly study that has significant contribution to the advancement of higher education. The abstract should highlight research questions, theoretical framework, sound research methodology, research results and appropriate discussion.

Please submit your extended abstract to EDAS by 13 March 2016 27 March 2016 (*Extended deadline).
